Developing a routine after a move is a… delicate dance. So far, I've upgraded to a Queen-sized bed, cleared out my office, and found a cute bagel spot to enjoy on my Sunday walks. All great things! That said, I'm slowly realizing my new apartment has significantly less storage than my studio, so I can't just put things back where they were because those cabinets no longer exist. I'm working on some creative storage solutions (more on that in Friday's blog post) to help alleviate this problem, but in the meantime, I'm just getting back into a routine. During my Monday Q&A on Instagram, someone asked me how long it should take to get used to a new neighborhood, and 'I Don't Know!" Of course, in a couple of weeks, I'll start on my DIY projects, which will trigger those feelings of home I crave, but who knows? I'm not rushing the process of creating or designing… I'm just enjoying every stage for what it is, even if it's uncomfortable.
