Every Wallpaper In My 490-Square Foot Studio Apartment
Wallpaper is the backbone of my apartment design style because they give you access to complex designs that paint can't achieve and separates your spaces into specific living zones, which is essential in a studio apartment. I got many questions on TikTok about the papers in my studio apartment, so I decided to create a reference with prices and shoppable links. If you're curious about the install process, check out this blog post.
By far my favorite wallpaper in the entire apartment is this one from Scalamandré x WallPops. The pattern, made famous from Wes Anderson’s “The Royal Tenenbaums” is super dramatic and perfect for dining rooms and bathrooms.

Wallpaper as a countertop/backsplash combo is a great way to draw the eye up and make a tiny kitchen look more expensive. I capped mine with a piece of trim painted "Monticello Rose" by Benjamin Moore.

My sultry bathroom was my last DIY of 2021, and this creamy cheetah wallpaper was a massive part of the transformation. The leaping cheetah is a signature pattern from Scalamandré, and you can see why - it’s perfect for any room, but I like to see it in bathrooms (duh), closets, and entryways.
I have to be honest - I created this specific pattern with paint, not peel-and-stick wallpaper! BUT, so many people assume it’s a wallpaper I decided to include it in this roundup. So, if you’re not willing to do a freehand paint job, try out this paper. This whimsical pattern is perfect as an accent wall in a small dining room, kid’s room, or office.
The latest wallpaper to join my collection is this bold striped pattern from Otto Studio, a Canadian startup with some of the funkiest patterns I’ve ever seen. I died when I saw this colorway and was determined to use it in my closet.

It’s giving Bridgerton, but it’s NOT peel-and-stick… It’s removable PASTED wallpaper. A new application style for me, but I love the texture.
